Defender Robert Addo Sowah has thanked Ghanaian giants Accra Hearts of Oak after ending his stay at the club.
Addo, 29, has left the former African champions following the expiration of his contract.
In appreciation of his services to the club, Hearts of Oak has issued a statement thanking Sowah for his dedicated service to the club he joined in 2017 from National Division One League (DOL) side Uncle ‘T’ United.
And in a response, Sowah, has posted on social media, thanking the Phobian fraternity for the support he enjoyed during his stay at the capital club.
“It was a dream come true to feature for the Rainbow family,” he posted, adding, “I am who I am because of this Great Club.”
He continued: “I would like to thank the Board, current and past technical team, playing body and supporters of this amazing club for everything they have done for me.”
“I couldn’t have come this far without you all,” he said.
“I dedicate all the good moments I had at Hearts of Oak to the fans and wish the club the best of luck,” he ended.
Sowah, made 96 appearances for Hearts of Oak and scored two goals.
He won the Ghanaian championship with the Phobians in the 2020-21 season and two FA Cup trophies in 2021 and 2022 as well as the President’s Cup in 2022.
