Premier club Accra Hearts of Oak are set to begin their preseason training on Monday, July 31, 2023 ahead of the new season.
The Phobians, missed out on silverware last season as they survived relegation in the betPawa Premier League on the last day of the campaign.
Chieftains at the capital club, are hoping for a successful campaign next season, putting behind them the troubles of the last campaign.
News coming in from the camp of the Phobians said, they expect the players to start gathering in Accra from Saturday, to begin what they expect to be a good campaign, coming up.
Hearts of Oak are without a technical head at the moment, but they hope to appoint a new coach before preseason starts.
The planned program, includes a cup game with city rivals Great Olympics in the annual Ga Homowo festival contest.
That fixture, has been fixed for Sunday, August 20 at the Accra Sports Stadium, and it is one of the preseason rituals they will be engaged in to prepare them for the coming campaign.
