The Ghana Army men hockey team, have won the 2023 Greater Accra Sapholda Hockey League after some intense competition.
The Army team, beat off strong competition from Exchequers of the Bank of Ghana and the Ghana Police team.
Ghana Army, finished the campaign with 31 points from the 12 matches they played, to win the championship.
They lost just one game all season, with one draw, winning 10 matches and scoring 26 goals with nine conceded.
Exchequers, finished second with 25 points after losing three of the 12 matches they played, falling short of the standard posed by the Ghana Army team.
In third position were the Ghana Police team with 22 points with the Ghana Revenue Authority team in fourth position with 20 points.
The Ghana Army team, will represent the nation in the African club championship, and they will look to make the most of this opportunity.
