Former Accra Great Olympics defender Abdul Bashiru has agreed a three-year deal to join Karela United.
The left back, is expected to put pen to paper on this deal before the end of this transfer window on Friday, September 1, 2023.
With a couple of days to end the window, Karela United have been adding to their squad ahead of the closure with the new season set to start later in September.
Bashiru, is an experienced character on the local scene, and his experience will be needed as Karela United seeks to improve on their fortunes of last season.
The club struggled for majority of the last campaign as they survived relegation on the final day of the season.
They are well into their preparations for next season with the club set to relocate from their original base of Anyinase in the Western region to Tamale in the Northern region.
Karela United will Open their account in the 2023/24 betPawa Premier League with an away encounter against Legon Cities on the weekend of September 15-18, 2023.
