Ghanaian club sides Medeama SC and Dreams FC, will go in search of qualification to the group phase of their respective CAF inter-club competitions this weekend.
The two betPawa Premier League sides, are 90 minutes away from gaining entry into the CAF Champions League and the Confederation Cup competitions respectively.
Medeama SC will take a 3-1 home leg lead into their return encounter with Horoya AC in Conakry, Guinea on Sunday, knowing they will secure passage to the next stage if they avoid defeat by two goals.
Dreams FC, lead 2-1 against FC Kallon of Sierra Leone going into their return fixture to be played in Liberia on Saturday.
Medeama SC’s game with Horoya AC, will be played at the national stadium in Conakry where a massive home crowd awaits them.
Dreams FC’s game has been moved to neighbouring Liberia, and will come off at SKD Stadium in Monrovia with CAF not happy with the conditions of the stadium in Sierra Leone.
The two Ghanaian sides will be eager to make it the the group phase of their respective competitions, and they will depart Ghana in high spirits of getting the desired result that will see them over the line.
