With a vision to rejuvenate the association and bring about positive change, Oti-Asirifi is calling on his friends and colleagues within the Ghanaian media landscape to support his candidature.
During an interview with totalsportsghana after the SWAG election balloting, Oti-Asirifi expressed his aspirations for SWAG, stating, “I entreat you to tell those friends to support my candidature to help build a more vibrant and influential association, ultimately working towards a stronger and more impactful organization.”
Joseph Mensah Oti-Asirifi is positioned as Number 2 on the Ballot Paper for the Deputy General Secretary position. His background is impressive, combining academic excellence and extensive professional experience. He holds qualifications such as Chartered Management and Professional Administrator (Ch.P.A & CIAMC), a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Development Management, a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Strategic Communication, and a Bachelor of Arts Honors. Furthermore, he is a final-year student pursuing LLB LAW at GIMPA (KAAF University College).
With over two decades of experience in sports broadcasting and a track record of holding significant roles in sports management and academia, Oti-Asirifi has a strong foundation to lead SWAG effectively. His history of activism within SWAG and the wider sports community has garnered substantial support for his candidacy.
