The Ashanti Regional Football Association (ARFA), is readying itself for the start of the Division Two League after a meeting with all the division clubs in the region.
The meeting took place at the ARFA secretariat, Kumasi on Thursday, October 19 2023 to discuss relevant issues in relation to the upcoming 2023/24 season.
At the meeting, the groupings of the clubs in their various zones was discussed among other related issues.
It was concluded that there will be eight groups of eight teams each for the 64 clubs that will be participating in next season’s campaign. After the zonal league competition, group winners in each zone, will qualify for the Middle League Promotional Tournament.
The eight teams will then compete with the eventual winner qualifying to represent the Ashanti Region in the National Division One League the season after season.
At yesterday’s meeting, the clubs were also briefed on the new registration directive ahead of the new season.
The groupings and other related information concerning the upcoming season, will be communicated to the clubs before the start of the campaign.
