The Phobians, together with Aduana FC, Nations FC, FC Samartex and Accra Lions, failed to advance to the next stage of the campaign in the ties played on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Accra Hearts of Oak, played out a goalless drawn game with National Division One League (DOL), side Nania FC, and went out of the competition via the dreaded penalty shoot outs.
Nania FC, win 4-3 on penalties in a game played at Hearts’ training grounds, the Pobiman Sports Complex on Wednesday.
Aduana FC, lost 2-1 at home to fellow top-flight side Berekum Chelsea at the Nana Agyemang Badu I Park, Dormaa-Ahenkro.
In another all topflight affair, Accra Lions were eliminated from the competition by Legon Cities who won 3-0 at home at the El-Wak Military Stadium in Accra on Wednesday.
DOL side Skyy FC, beat Elite Division campaigners FC Samartex 1996 at the St Mary’s Park, Daboase.
Asante Kotoko beat Nations FC 4-2 at the Baba Yara Stadium, Kumasi to advance to the Round of 32 as they chase their first trophy in this competition since 2017.
In other matches played, New Edubiase United FC lost 0-1 to fellow DOL side Pac Academy Football Club at the Len Clay Stadium, Obuasi.
Top-flight side Nsoatreman Football Club won 3-0 at home to DOL outfit Maana Football Club; Koforidua Semperfi won 2-0 at home to Attram de Visser Soccer Academy.
Accra Great Olympics won 4-3 on penalties against Golden Kick Sporting Club at the Accra Sports Stadium with NA GOD FC losing 1-2 to Vision Football Club at the Tema Sports Stadium.
