Old rivals Accra Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko will square off for the umpteenth time this Sunday as the Ghana Premier League continues with the Matchday 14 matches this weekend.
The game will be played at the Baba Yara Stadium, Kumasi, and is a home game for the Phobians as they cannot host the game at the Accra Sports Stadium which is closed for all football activities for a month.
This is the biggest football game in Ghana this weekend with the league action set to start on Saturday.
At the Dr Kwame Kyei Sports Complex, Abrankese, Kumasi, Nations FC will host leaders Aduana FC in the first game of the weekend.
Sunday’s other games, will see FC Samartex hosting Heart of Lions at the Nsenkyire Sports Arena, Samreboi; Karela United will trek to Nsoatre to face local side Nsoatreman FC.
Also on Sunday, Berekum Chelsea will be home to Accra Great Olympics at the Golden City Park, Berekum; Legon Cities hosts Real Tamale United at the El-Wak Military Stadium, Accra with Accra Lions away to Bechem United at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park, Bechem.
The game between Medeama SC and Bofoakwa Tano as well as that of Dreams FC and Bibiani Gold Stars, have been postponed to allow Medeama SC and Dreams FC honour their continental assignments this weekend.
