Wenchi Rangers FC drew 2-2 with Awisa United FC in a preseason friendly played at Awisa in the Bono Region on Sunday.
Rangers, are preparing for the start of the zonal Second Division League in the region as they aim to progress to the National Division One League next season.
8Forward Nana Agyeman, scored both goals for Rangers in this keenly contested affair as both sides prepare for the start of their respective campaigns.
The league in the region, is expected to start some where in February next year, and Rangers, are leaving no stone unturned as they bid to be ready for the competition.
Meanwhile, the U-17 side of Wenchi Rangers FC, will participate in an upcoming Christmas gala football competition on December 23, 2023 at Awisa.
The youth side will look to win this contest as they seek to make the holiday celebration a happy one for their club.
Chairman of Wenchi Rangers FC, Ernest Ziemeh, said, they aim to develop football talents in the region, as they seek to take the club to even greater heights in the annals of Ghana football.
