In a mutual agreement, Kudakwashe Mahachi has parted ways with the club after a brief five-month stint marked by fitness challenges. The Zimbabwean midfielder joined the Mauve and Yellows in August 2023 but faced difficulties in securing a consistent role due to fitness issues.
Both parties have decided to go their separate ways, acknowledging that it’s in the best interest of both the club and the player. Mahachi, who initially joined Mamelodi Sundowns in 2014, has had a diverse career, including a loan spell at Golden Arrows and permanent stints with Sundowns, Orlando Pirates, and SuperSport United in South Africa.
Capped 44 times for Zimbabwe and having scored 5 goals, Mahachi made the switch to Ghana after a one-year absence. However, the move did not unfold as planned, leading to the amicable parting of ways. The club expresses its best wishes for Kudakwashe Mahachi’s future endeavors, acknowledging his contributions and the challenges faced during his time with the team.
