In-form MidCity FC continue to set the pace in the ongoing Ashanti Regional Second Division League after they top their zone after nine round of matches.
The Lions, posted their seventh win of the campaign over the weekend to maintain their leadership of Zone Five.
MidCity FC, beat fourth placed Deportivo SC 3-1 at the Prempeh College Park, kumasi on Sunday, to take their points tally to 22.
They look good as they aim to make it to the regional promotion tournament that leads to qualification to the National Division One League next season.
In second position on the table are Soccer 4 Souls with 21 points after they defeated bottom side Samosa FC 3-0 also on Sunday.
In other games played in the zone, Bantama Lions drew 2-2 with Kumawuman FC to stay third and sixth on the table with 16 and 10 points respectively.
Adom FC who are fifth with 13 points, drew goalless with Mahoni FC who occupies the last but one position on the table.
The season continues this weekend at the same venue with the Matchday 10 fixtures, where MidCity FC will look to build on their fine form.
