Emmanuel Amoah has been one of the stand out performers for MidCity FC this season as they continue to set the pace in Zone Five of the Ashanti Regional Second Division League.
The defensive midfielder, has been amazing in the middle of the park for the Lions as they sit top of the stairs, leading by four points with four matches to end the zonal league.
In the last two league games played by MidCity FC, Amoah, has picked up two MVP awards, games he helped his side win to consolidate their lead on top of the table.
And, he is in line to finish the campaign even better as together with his colleagues, they aim to win the sole ticket from the zone and with it, advance to the regional promotional league that leads to qualification to the National Division One League.
MidCity FC, beat second placed Soccer 4 Souls 1-0 a couple of Sunday’s ago to extend their lead at the top of the stairs to four points, putting them in pole position to secure the Zone Five title.
They will look to consolidate on their good run at the weekend, when they play their 11th league game of the season, looking for the three points that will all but guarantee their passage to the promotional league.
And, Amoah, will hope to be a part of the matchday squad, looking to control affairs in midfield, to propel MidCity FC to another victory.
