Eight communities in the Nsawam-Adoagyiri Municipality will battle for the 2024 Salla football Cup on Saturday.
The Million Balls Africa Project for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, is in full support of this upcoming competition, and will be making some presentations at the event.
The one-day gala tournament, will be held at the Al-Rajhi Astro Turf, Zongo, in the municipality starting at 8:00 AM local time.
It has been dubbed “Sarkin Samari Salla Gala Tournament’, with the eight participating teams, expected to feature their best athletes, aiming to win the diadem and the bragging rights at stake.
The participating teams are, Wangara Lane, Adoagyire, Sabon Zongo/Amoakrom and Mossi Lane.
Also set to participate, are Djankrom, Kotokoli Lane, Owuraku/Ntuaso and Zabarma Lane for the ultimate trophy.
Officials of the Million Balls Africa Project, will be on hand to make the presentations as well as deliver their message of hope and support.
