Port City FC gained to the National Division One League (DOL), next season after winning promotion from the Eastern region.
City, played an unbeaten season during this past campaign that ended at the Koforidua Youth Resource Center on Saturday.
On the final day of the Eastern Regional Football Association (ERFA), Second Division Middle League, Coach Edward Odoom and his charges, finished the campaign with an unbeaten record, winning all the five games they played in the promotional tournament.
They have thus qualified to play in the DOL next season where they will feature in Zone Three alongside teams from the Greater Accra, Eastern and Volta regions.
Coach Edward Nii Odoom, was voted the best coach of the 2023–2024 football season in the region, after going undefeated in both the zonal league and the Middle League.
Port City FC also swept the other awards with Abdul Karim Aziz winning the best goalkeeper award with Bernard Quarcoo named the best player and top scorer with 26 goals in all competitions.
The club will look to build on this achievement next season as they compete in a higher league where they will seek to qualify to the Elite Division of Ghana football.
