Enterprising table tennis star Juanita Borteye has taken her game to another level as she aims for greater heights.
The Ghanaian, is now ranked 11th in Africa after putting up some impressive displays over the last few months.
At the 2023 African Games, the West African regional championship, ITTF Africa Cup and the Olympic Games qualification tournaments, her performances showed.
Borteye, is hoping to go even further in her career and is looking forward to that.
The latest women’s ranking of the International Table Tennis Federation, puts her 167th in the world, 11th in Africa and Ghana’s number one. position in Ghana.
Her aim is to turn pro as soon as possible, and has called on well wishers to support her get to that level.
The Nungua-based athlete, believes she can do even better with good coaching and training, and is open to training outside Ghana to realize her dreams.
Juanita Borteye plays for Rising Star Foundation in Accra, and is trained by Enoch Nii Otu.
