Chief Seidu Adamu has called for the annulment of the Ghana Premier League match results between Dreams FC and Real Tamale United (RTU), which ended in an 8-1 victory for Dreams FC. Adamu insists the match should not be recorded in the league’s history books.
According to the Ghana Premier League regulations, Dreams FC should be awarded 3 points and 3 goals. RTU, having used unregistered players, should be declared to have forfeited the match, resulting in a deduction of 3 points and 3 goals from their accumulated tally.
Furthermore, Adamu urges that the names of the goal scorers and the goals themselves be expunged from official records, along with any cautions given during the match, as if they never occurred. This, he argues, is the only way to maintain the sanctity and integrity of the Ghana Premier League.
