Dreams FC has selected Tuba AstroTurf as their main venue for the upcoming 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season. The former Ghanaian FA Cup champions have officially submitted this new venue to the Ghana Football Association (GFA), moving away from their long-time home, the Theatre of Dreams in Dawu, which has been their primary venue since their promotion to the top flight in 2015.
Accra Sports Stadium has been submitted as an alternative venue by the club. This decision comes as all 18 Premier League clubs, including Dreams FC, have recently submitted their proposed match venues and alternative venues in accordance with the GFA’s Club Licensing Regulations.
The GFA will now commence its licensing process, reviewing and inspecting the submitted venues to make final decisions on their approval status. As part of the process, the GFA will announce the inspection schedule and the status of all submitted venues. The match venues may be approved, conditionally approved, or rejected based on the inspections.
Clubs, including Dreams FC, will be informed of any necessary adjustments in line with the GFA Stadium Regulations before the scheduled inspections, set to take place from August 8 to 21, 2024.
