Berekum Chelsea President Bernard Jantuah Amofa said they aim to win the Ghanaian top-flight title next season and, they will go for it.
The Bibires, finished third last season in the Ghana Premier League (GPL), 10 points behind winners FC Samartex who won their maiden title.
And, Mr Amofa is aiming to wrestle the diadem next season after coming close to the title in the past two campaigns.
“Our target is to win the 2024/25 GPL title, and we are working towards achieving that feat in the coming campaign”, Mr Amofa told Kumasi-based radio station Kessben FM.
He added: “We came close last season and the season before, and we have learnt valuable lessons from those campaigns.”
“We will build on this in the coming campaign, and I am positive that Berekum Chelsea would be a handful for all next season,” he said.
Coach Samuel Buadu and his charges, are putting finishing touches on their pre-season preparations ahead of the new campaign.
They will be going for their second Ghanaian title after they won the GPL in the 2010/2011 campaign.
Berekum Chelsea will open their account in the GPL next season with an away encounter against newly promoted Vision FC at Tema on the weekend ending September 6-8, 2024.
