Glorious Accra Hearts of Oak departed Ghana Wednesday morning to neighbouring Togo to continue with their preparations for the 2024-25 football season.
The Phobians, will be in Togo for about 10 days as Coach Abubakar Ouattara shapes his team for the next campaign.
They will be engaged in a series of friendly matches as part of their training as they round off their preparations for the new season which started in Accra early this month.
Coach Ouattara, has named a 30-man squad for the final part of their pre-season rituals, hoping to return in good shape and ready for the start of the new season.
Last season, the Phobians avoided relegation on the final game of the campaign and will be eager to better that record in the coming campaign.
Hearts of Oak will open their account next season with a home game against newly promoted Basake Holy Stars at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday, September 8, 2024.
