Accra Hearts of Oak coach Aboubakar Ouattara said he is building an all round team for the club as he targets success next season.
The Phobians, endured a difficult campaign last term, surviving relegation from the Ghana Premier League (GPL), on the last day of the season.
And, this Coach Ouattara said he is out to avoid a repetition of after they brought their pre-season training to a close.
“I am not building a team around a player so, everyone can start a game for Hearts of Oak”, Coach Ouattara said.
The experienced gaffer, took the team through their paces in pre-season, preparing them for the task ahead as the GPL starts this weekend.
Hearts of Oak, returned to Ghana last weekend after a 10-day tour of neighbouring Togo to put finishing touches on their preparations for next season.
There, Coach Ouattara and his charges, won one and drew the other in the two games they played, putting them in shape for the start of the new campaign.
On Wednesday, they drew goalless with fellow top-flight side Dreams FC in their final pre-season game to prepare for their opening league game on Sunday.
“I am happy about our preparations for the start of the season”, Coach Ouattara told the club’s media, insisting that the team will be ready for the season opener.
Accra Hearts of Oak will host newly promoted Basake Holy Stars in their first game of the 2024/25 GPL campaign at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.
