Visions FC were held to a 0-0 draw by visiting Berekum Chelsea at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex on Saturday, September 7, 2024. Nana Kweku Agyemang’s side, making their debut in the top flight, were unable to secure a win against a determined Berekum Chelsea.
Agyemang featured five of his new signings in the starting line-up, including Elijah Addai, who played 62 minutes, and Nicholas Mensah. The first half, which ended scoreless, saw both teams evenly matched, successfully neutralizing each other’s threats.
In the second half, Vision FC came close to taking the lead, but Obeng Sekyere denied new signing Kusi Asante from close range. The game ended without a goal, and both teams were forced to share the points.
Visions FC will now focus on their next fixture, an away game against Accra Lions, while Berekum Chelsea will host Karela United.
