The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Tarkwa Nsuaem, Hon. Benjamin Kessie, has announced a five-member interim management team to oversee the Tarkwa Nsuaem (TNA) Stadium. This team will manage the facility for one month, taking over from the National Sports Authority from September 19th to October 31st, 2024.
The committee, led by chairman **James Essilfie**, brings together diverse sports management expertise. The other members include **Amanda Pokua Adjei**, who represents the Tarkwa Nsuaem Municipal Assembly (TNMA), **Roseline Amoo**, **James Bawa**, and **Ebenezer Aidoo**.
The committee has been tasked with key responsibilities, including managing the stadium’s operations during the transition period, providing weekly reports to TNMA, and ensuring no parts of the stadium are rented or allocated without prior approval from the Assembly. They are also expected to carry out any additional tasks assigned by TNMA.
This leadership team is set to play a crucial role in maintaining the facility and ensuring a smooth handover process for sports activities and events during the interim period.
