Seven clubs remain unbeaten in the Ghana Premier League (GPL), after four matches with a lot to play for going forward.
Champions FC Samartex, Asante Kotoko, Berekum Chelsea, Bibiani Gold Stars, Heart of Lions, Medeama SC and Nations FC, are all unbeaten in the league.
In the nine matches played at the weekend, 20 goals were scored with the encounter between Young Apostles and Aduana FC at Wenchi, producing five goals in a thriller.
Four goals were scored in the game between Accra Lions and Nsoatreman FC in Accra with stalemates being recorded in the games between Heart of Lions and Gold Stars; Berekum Chelsea and Asante Kotoko and Nations FC and Accra Hearts of Oak.
Accra Lions beat Nsoatreman FC 3-1 to record their first win of the campaign with Young Apostles also posting their first win with a 3-2 home success over Aduana FC.
Medeama SC won 2-1 away to Basake Holy Stars at Aiyinase; FC Samartex beat Vision FC 2-1 at home with Bechem United registering their maiden win, beating Dreams FC 1-0 at Bechem.
Asante Kotoko were held to a 1-1 draw away to Berekum Chelsea with the games between Heart of Lions and Gold Stars and the Nations FC encounter with Accra Hearts of Oak, failing to produce a goal.
The season will continue this weekend with the Matchday Five fixtures nationwide.
