FC Samartex head coach Nurudeen Amadu said they need to work hard to get to their expected level if they want to retain the Ghana Premier League (GPL), title they won last season.
However, the gaffer admits this is what is required of them as a top level side, and that they will work towards that.
Coach Amadu was speaking after his side drew 1-1 with Bibiani Gold Stars at home in their GPL outstanding game on Wednesday.
FC Samartex, are unbeaten in the league after three matches and do have a game in hand as the season continues this weekend.
“We are disappointed with the result especially playing at home, but we will keep working hard to get to our level,” the former Asante Kotoko player said.
Coach Amadu, guided FC Samartex to the GPL title last season, and is looking to make it another successful campaign this term.
Their next fixture is an away encounter against Karela United at Tamale where Coach Amadu and his charges, will look to maintain their unbeaten start to the defence of their title.
