Ghana coach Otto Addo said the Black Stars will not underrate Sudan in the double header 2025 AFCON qualifiers later this month.
The Black Stars will host Sudan in Accra on Thursday, October 10 with the return fixture to be played in Libya on Tuesday, October 15.
And, Coach Addo said, he is fully aware of the gains Sudan has made since appointing former Ghana coach Kwasi Appiah as helmsman.
“Sudan, has made massive progress since Kwasi Appiah took over, and we will not take them lightly, Otto Addo said when announcing his squad for the two games in Accra on Friday.
” We will not underrate them, we will prepare very well for both games, and I am positive about our chances,” he added.
Ghana will host the Sudanese at the Accra Sports Stadium next Thursday in this Group F tie before heading to Libya for the return encounter.
Angola leads the group with six points from two games ahead of Sudan who have three with Ghana and Niger on a point each.
The top two nations after the qualifiers, will advance to the tournament proper in Morocco next year.
