Record Ghana champions Asante Kotoko will be home to reigning champions FC Samartex in the top-liner of the Ghana Premier League (GPL), Matchday Seven action this weekend.
This fiercely anticipated clash, will be played at the Len Clay Stadium, Obuasi, on Sunday, where the Porcupines have adopted as home venue as their favoured Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi, is closed for renovations.
The action in the GPL this weekend, however starts on Saturday in Accra and Tema New Town.
Vision FC, will be home to Bechem United at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex, Tema New Town where they are unbeaten at this season.
Young Apostles, will trek to the University of Ghana Stadium, Legon in the capital to play Accra Lions where they will look for their first away win of the campaign.
Sunday’s other matches, would be played in Tarkwa, Tamale, Kasoa, Nsoatre, Berekum and Bibiani.
Medeama SC, will welcome unbeaten Nations FC to the TNA Stadium, Tarkwa in what should be a closely fought affair.
Heart of Lions, will be away to Karela United at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium, Tamale in a game that should be thrilling.
Accra Hearts of Oak will look to continue with their good run when they make the short trip to Kasoa to play Dreams FC at the Tuba Astro Turf.
Nsoatreman FC will welcome Basake Holy Stars to the Nana Kronamansah Park, Nsoatre where they are very formidable.
Berekum Chelsea has another chance to protect their unbeaten start to the campaign when they host Legon Cities at the Golden City Park.
