Nations FC made light work of Premier League newbies Vision FC with a 3-0 comfortable win at the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex on Sunday, October 27, 2024.
Brace hero Faisal Charwetey scored in either half, while Michael Danso netted in stoppage time to ensure Nations FC secured all three points.
Mingle’s side began in positive fashion with early forays forward. Their pressure paid off as Charwetey met Osei Kuffour’s cross and volleyed into the net to give his side the lead.
Nations went into the break with their narrow lead and heaped more pressure on the visitors after recess. Charwetey scored his second on 59 minutes to double their advantage before Danso scored at the death to seal victory for the hosts.
This marks Nations FC’s third win of the campaign and their first at home, moving them to 5th on the league standings with 13 points. Vision FC, who have now lost twice, drop to 9th on the league log.
Nations FC will be away to Karela for their next game, while Vision FC will host Aduana Stars.
