Story: John Kofi Bigwig Arthur
Skyy Football Club has confirmed the departure of head coach Dennis Agyekum Boateng following a difficult start to the season, marked by only one win in six games. Boateng’s exit comes on the heels of a 1-0 home defeat to Pac Academy Football Club, a loss that intensified pressure on his position. Though the club’s technical director, Professor Josiah Kwofie, initially intervened to prevent the dismissal, the decision was finalized after careful deliberation.
Boateng’s brief tenure saw Skyy FC struggle to find form, recording four losses, one draw, and only one victory across five Access Bank Division One League matches. These results left the team in 16th place on the Zone Two league log.
Skyy FC will now look to re-evaluate their technical direction as they seek to climb out of the relegation zone.
