MidCity FC began life in the 2024/25 Ashanti Regional Second Division League with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Pro Players Academy at the weekend.
This Matchday Two fixture was played at the Prempeh College football field in a Zone Two encounter.
The Lions, had to dig deep to record this win, their first of the season which was also their opening game of the campaign.
MidCity FC, will continue with their quest to win promotion from the region to the national Division One League (DOL), this weekend.
They will next play Mahala Academy on Sunday also at the Prempeh College football field where all Zone Two matches are being played this season.
Other results in the zone saw Excel SC beat Kumasi Academicals 2-1, Step FC draw goalless with Mahala Academy with Dabo Soccer Academy winning 6-2 over Bantama Lions.
