The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has announced that StarTimes will resume broadcasting Ghana Premier League (GPL) matches starting from Matchday 13. This decision follows widespread complaints from fans and stakeholders about the poor quality of telecasts by AFA TV and Globe TV, which had taken over coverage earlier this season.
According to sources, the GFA and StarTimes reached an agreement that includes a payment plan for the outstanding debt StarTimes owes the association. This move is expected to restore the high-quality broadcast standards StarTimes previously offered and improve the visibility of the league.
