The Ghana Premier League (GPL), will continue with the Matchday 13 fixtures this weekend across all centers nationwide.
Eight matches would be played on Saturday with one encounter scheduled for Sunday as the competition heats up.
There are three standout matches to look out for on Saturday with the games coming up in Samreboi, Tamale and Berekum.
FC Samartex v Heart of Lions
Reigning champions FC Samartex 1996, will be home to Heart of Lions at the Nsenkyire Sports Arena, Samreboi where they are very formidable.
The Timber Giants, who are ninth on the table with 17 points, will be looking for their fifth win of the campaign.
Heart of Lions, are third with 21 points, and, they will be playing for their sixth win this season.
Karela United v Gold Stars
Leaders Bibiani Gold Stars, will trek to the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium, Tamale to confront the might of local side Karela United.
The Miners, top the standing with 23 points, and a win will keep them top of the stairs after this weekend’s round of matches.
Karela United, have struggled for pace this season as they lie 13th on the log with 12 points. They will look for their fourth win of the campaign in front of their home fans.
Berekum Chelsea v Aduana FC
Berekum Chelsea will host neighbours Aduana FC at the Golden City Park, Berekum where they will look for their fifth win this weekend to climb up the table.
Aduana FC, have 12 points, just a point above the relegation zone, and they cannot afford to lose this fixture.
