Medeama Sporting Club and their head coach, Nebojsa Kapor, have officially parted ways following the expiration of his one-year contract in December 2024.
The 38-year-old Bosnian tactician joined the Mauve and Yellows in December 2023 during the club’s final stages in the CAF Champions League. Despite efforts to renew his stay, both parties were unable to agree on new contractual terms.
Coach Kapor leaves behind a legacy of dedication and professionalism, having led Medeama SC to remarkable achievements in the Ghana Premier League. His contributions have been instrumental in maintaining the club’s competitive performances over the past year.
In a statement, Medeama SC expressed gratitude to Coach Kapor for his invaluable contributions and wished him success in his future endeavors.
As the club begins the search for a new head coach, Technical Director Augustine Evans Adotey will take charge in the interim. Adotey, who previously guided the club to its historic Ghana Premier League title and their group-stage appearance in the CAF Champions League, will oversee the team’s activities until a permanent head coach is appointed.
Medeama SC assures its supporters and stakeholders that updates on the coaching appointment will be shared in due course.
