Asante Kotoko Coach Prosper Narteh Ogum said they are focused on their targets for the season as they chase a domestic double.
The Porcupines, are top of the Ghana Premier League (GPL), after 18 matches, and, are also through to the Round of 16 in the MTN FA Cup competition.
“We are focused, and determined to do more for the rest of the campaign,” he told the club’s media.
Asante Kotoko, moved top of the stairs in the ongoing campaign after beating Karela United 1-0 in Kumasi on Sunday.
They are top of the table with 34 points, one point ahead of Bibiani Gold Stars and Heart of Lions who are second and third respectively.
And, Coach Ogum, is hoping to build on Asante Kotoko’s recent upsurge in form as they chase a record extending 25th GPL title.
Asante Kotoko will next play Nsoatreman FC in the league on Sunday at the Nana Kronamansah Park, Nsoatre.
The Porcupines, won the first round fixture 1-0 at Obuasi, and, Coach Ogum will look to complete the double over the FA Cup champions.
A win for Kotoko on Sunday in this Matchday 19 fixture, will keep them top of the stairs after this weekend’s round of matches.
And, the record Ghana champions, will be huge favourites to collect the three points against Nsoatreman FC that has found the going very tough in recent matches.
