Record Ghana champions Asante Kotoko aim to secure their 25th title this season.
The Porcupines lead the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League (GPL) season by a single point heading into this weekend’s matches.
After 18 games, Asante Kotoko sits at the top of the table with 34 points, just one point ahead of Bibiani Gold Stars and Heart of Lions in second and third place, respectively.
The Garden City club has claimed victory in 10 of the 18 matches they have played this season, which amounts to 55.6%.Coach Prosper Narteh Ogum’s team has drawn four games out of the 18 matches played, reflecting 22.2%.
The 24-time Ghana champions have suffered four losses this season, which is also 22.2%.
Their points total of 34 from a possible 54 represents 63% of what they could have achieved.
Asante Kotoko has netted the most goals so far, 21, while conceding 12, resulting in a goal difference of nine.
Coach Ogum and his team will seek to enhance these statistics on Sunday when they face Nsoatreman FC as the season progresses with the Matchday 19 fixtures.
The match will take place at Nana Kronamansah Park, Nsoatre, where Asante Kotoko aims to achieve a double against the MTN FA Cup champions.
