Accra Great Olympics will take on Hohoe United at their home ground in the the highlight of the Zone Three showdown in the Access Bank Division One League (DOL) this weekend.
This Matchday 15 match will occur at the Hohoe Sports Stadium, where the home team remains unbeaten this season. The two teams are fiercely competing in Zone Three for the exclusive spot in the Ghana Premier League next season.
They are being pursued for the spot by other teams in this intensely competitive area of Ghanaian football.
Hohoe United tops the standings with 32 points, just ahead of Great Olympics, while Okwawu United (29) and Port City (28) trail closely behind.
These are the top four teams in Zone Three as the last matches of the first round of the competition are wrapped up this weekend.
In other games, Rainmasters FC will welcome Okwawu United to the Ho Sports Stadium, with Golden Kick FC taking on Nania FC at the Tuba Astro Turf, Kasoa.
Both matches will take place on Saturday. Sunday’s other matches will feature Home Stars facing Port City FC at the Ho Sports Stadium.
Kings Palace FC will entertain Inter Allies at the Akotex Park, Akosombo, while Koforidua Sempe-Fi will meet Kotoku Royals at the Koforidua Sports Stadium.
On Monday, Na God FC will host True Democracy FC at the Akotex Park, Akosombo, to conclude the first round of the competition.
