Ghana coach Christopher Hughton says his team is ready for Thursday’s game with the Central African Republic in Kumasi.
The Black Stars will host the Central Africans at the Baba Yara Stadium in a last group qualifier to next year’s AFCON tournament in Cote D’Ivoire.
And ahead of this Group E tie, Coach Hughton believes his side is ready for the game and they seek to secure qualification.
The Black Stars needs to avoid defeat to qualify for the tournament as they lead the group by a point from Angola with the CAR in third position a point adrift.
“We have had some good preparation for this tie, and I can confirm that the boys are ready for the game,” Coach Hughton told the Kumasi media ahead of the game.
He added: “The boys are poised to deliver, and they will not play under pressure in front of the Kumasi crowd.”
Coach Hughton expects he charges to rise to the occasion to get the result that will see them through to next year’s competition in La Cote D’Ivoire.
There, the Black Stars will look to win the continental title for the first time since 1982.
