The Greater Accra Regional Football Association (GARFA), will hold its annual Congress today to usher in the new season.
Chairman of the GARFA, Samuel Aboabire, will chair this Congress with all football stakeholders in the region expected to attend.
The Congress will come off at the Accra Sports Stadium in the Ghanaian capital on Thursday morning.
It is expected that the Congress will deliberate on issues that affected the running of football in the region last season and how best to make the new campaign a better one.
Chairman Aboabire, is expected to present the current state of football in the region and how best to move it forward.
Representatives of football clubs, referees and match commissioners among others are expected to attend this Congress.
The dates for the commencement of football action in the region is expected to be announced as clubs gear up for the start of the new season.
