FC Samartex 1996 forward Michael Ehpson said he hopes to build on his performance in Sunday’s win over Aduana FC as the 2023/24 betPawa Premier League commenced last weekend.
Ehpson, scored the only goal of the game as the Timber Giants beat the former Ghana Premier League winners 1-0 at the Nsenkyire Sports Arena, Samreboi to open their account with a win.
And, Ehpson said he is happy with his performance in Sunday’s win, and hopes it will inspire him to do even better.
“I am elated that we won our first game and for scoring against an experienced side like Aduana FC,” Ehpson told the club’s media.
He added: “It’s a motivation for me and I will build on it to get more.”
Chieftains at FC Samartex, will hope the former Nzema Kotoko player, can maintain his good start to the season as they go in search of their targets.
FC Samartex will next play Nations FC in the betPawa Premier League as the competition continues this weekend.
Ehpson, will look to inspire FC Samartex to another win at the Dr Kwame Kyei Sports Complex, Abrankese on Sunday in their second league game of the campaign.
