Juventus in partnership with Kwadwo Asamoah has unveiled and ultramodern football academy in Ghana today.
In an event which was attended by media people and football fans today, the Italian football giants put on display their new facility established in the country with the aim of grooming talented players of both sexes to compete at the highest level. Juventus Academy Ghana is the 65th academy inaugurated by the La Vecchia Signora. With a strong and ineffaceable reputation in football, the Italian giants vision of establishing a football academy in Ghana was made possible with partnership of their former player and ex Ghanaian international Kwadwo Asamoah who featured for the club between 2012-2018, making 156 apps and scoring 5 goals.
The facility which includes an indoor volleyball court, a tennis court and football pitch is situated at Casa Trassaco near Accra Mall. Juventus Academy Ghana which becomes the second in West Africa after Juventus Academy Nigeria is led by Kwadwo Asamoah and Massimiliano Taricone.
The Juventus Academy Ghana will aim at grooming talents from across the country and will soon be opened for Justifiers.
