Augustine Evans Adotey insists his Medeama SC side is highly motivated to win their CAF Champions League game on Friday.
The Ghana champions, will host Young Africans of Tanzania in their third group game as they aim to make it to the knockout stages of the campaign.
And, Coach Adotey said his side is focused on winning Friday’s encounter at the Baba Yara Stadium as they go for their second win.
“We are only focused on winning this game, and we have prepared well enough to collect the three points,” Coach Adotey told the local media ahead of tomorrow’s game.
“We know and respect the quality of opposition we will be facing in Yanga, but my boys are highly motivated to win the game on Friday.
A win for the Ghanaian champions, will take their points tally to six at the halfway point of the competition, with three more matches to play to end the group phase.
Medeama SC have three points from two matches, after losing one and winning the other in the two matches they have played.
Defending champions Al Ahly of Egypt have four points, with Algerian outfit CR Belouizdad on three points, leaving Young Africans bottom of the log in Group D with one point.
Al Ahly plays CR Belouizdad in the other group game this weekend ahead of the next round of fixtures in the competition.
Coach Adotey will hope his charges will rise to the occasion against the Tanzanian champions to make his promise of winning this game a reality on Friday afternoon.
