Champion club Medeama SC has lined up their itinerary for their maiden voyage into the CAF Champions League competition.
The Yellow and Mauves, have moved camp from Tarkwa to Bataanya in the Central region to continue with their preparations for the upcoming campaign.
Coach Augustine Adotey, has named a 37-man squad for camping to prepare for their CAF Champions League first round qualifying game against Remo Stars of Nigeria on August 20.
The team will remain in camp ahead of this first leg game which will be played at the Cape Coast Stadium.
The program lineup ahead of the game, includes some local and international friendly matches.
Medeama SC will play Nations FC in the first of those friendlies on Thursday, August 3 at the Cape Coast Stadium.
A second friendly against Togolese side Asko De Kara FC, will be played at the same venue a day later (Friday), test test the readiness of the team for the action ahead.
On Sunday, Medeama SC will take on the Togolese side in another international friendly at the Cape Coast Stadium to sharpen their arsenal for the Nigerian challenge.
A low-profile friendly against a local side, has also being lined up for the team on Wednesday, August 16 in Cape Coast, four days before the betPawa Premier League champions takes on Remo Stars.
Medeama SC, are hoping to get to the group phase of the CAF Champions League at least, and must negotiate two hurdles if they are to get there.
Should they overcome the Nigerians over two legs, they will face Guinean side Horoya FC also over two legs for a place in the group phase of the competition.
