Champions of Ghana Medeama SC will officially present their betPawa Premier League title to the Presidency on Wednesday.
The Yellow and Mauves, won their first ever Ghanaian top-flight title last season after staging a remarkable rally to pip Aduana FC and Bechem United to the diadem.
And ahead of their maiden participation in the CAF Champions League later this month, chieftains at the Tarkwa-club will lead the players and technical team to the seat of government in Accra on Wednesday.
President Nana Addo Danquah Akufo Addo, is expected to welcome them to the Presidency in similar fashion to other clubs that won the championship in the past.
It is expected that President Akufo Addo will announce a financial package for Medeama SC to support their participation in the CAF Champions League campaign.
The Ghana champions, will host Remo Stars FC of Nigeria in a first leg first round qualifier on August 20 at the Cape Coast Stadium.
Medeama SC will look to take a healthy first leg result into the return fixture in Nigeria as they seek to secure passage to the next phase of the campaign.
