Record Ghana champions Asante Kotoko has officially written to Berekum Chelsea for their central defender Henry Ansu.
The Porcupines, are in search of reinforcements following the departure of key personal in their playing squad.
With the club looking to booster their playing squad, they have contacted their fellow top-flight side for the services of their key defender.
Ansu, has been a main stay in the Berekum Chelsea squad since joining the club a couple of seasons ago, and he has been courted be several clubs, local and foreign.
The request of Asante Kotoko, will test the resolve of Berekum Chelsea to sell, as Ansu has been a trusted servant at the club.
It is understood that Coach Prosper Nartey Ogum is in demand of the player as he begins his second stint at the club.
Asante Kotoko are set to begin their preseason schedule next week Monday as they look to get in shape for next season.
Coach Ogum, is hoping to get all of his requests in before their campaign of next season starts at home to Heart of Lions.
