Berekum Chelsea and their coach, Samuel Boadu, have been charged with breaching Section 38(8)(a) and Section 34(6)(d) of the GFA Ghana Premier League Regulations, 2019. The charges stem from the Ghana Premier League match between Berekum Chelsea and Legon Cities.
The allegations include the failure of the club to present its coach for the mandatory post-match press conference and Samuel Boadu’s intentional absence from the same conference. Such actions are deemed as misconduct that tarnishes the reputation of the game.
Both parties have until Thursday, May 9, 2024, to respond to the charges.
