In a bid to reclaim their position in the Ghana League, the leadership of Ashantigold SC has taken decisive action by reaching out to grassroots football clubs. Under the directive of the Municipal Football Association, a comprehensive screening exercise has been organized, inviting Division 2 and 3 clubs within the Municipality to participate.
Scheduled for Sunday, May 19th, 2024, at the renowned Ofori Stadium, the screening process is set to commence promptly at 7 a.m. All clubs within the designated divisions are strongly encouraged to partake in this opportunity, as it presents a platform for players to showcase their skills and potentially secure a spot in the upcoming season.
With the objective of fostering youth development and scouting promising talents, arrangements have also been made to accommodate juvenile players with exceptional abilities. This initiative aims to integrate young talents into various clubs within the divisions, providing them with the opportunity to prove their worth and contribute to the resurgence of football in the region.
