Former Real Tamale United (RTU) center back Mathew Abayase has joined capital club Accra Great Olympics.
He joins the Wonder Club on a two-year deal after ending his stay at RTU.
The player completed his medicals on Thursday, before signing the deal with the two-time Ghana champions.
Abayase, is expected to bring some stability at the heart of the Great Olympics defence which looked out of shape for most parts of last season.
He joins Coach Annor Walker’s side in their preseason training as they seek to get themselves ready for the start of the new campaign.
Great Olympics, will open their account in the 2023-24 betPawa Premier League with a home game against newly promoted Bofoakwa Tano at the Accra Sports Stadium next month.
The defender will hope to make an immediate impact in the capital city as he takes his career to new heights.
