Medeama SC head Coach Nebosja Kapor said their game with Accra Hearts of Oak will be an excellent one, but expects his charges to rise to the challenge.
He also acknowledged that the encounter will be a tough one against a wounded side, but expects Medeama SC to win the three points.
Medeama SC, will host the Phobians in a Ghana Premier League, (GPL) Matchday Nine fixture on Friday at the TnA Stadium, Tarkwa with kick-off time set for 6:00 PM local time.
“It’s exciting to welcome Accra Hearts of Oak to Tarkwa on Friday,” Coach Kapor told the club’s media ahead of the game.
“We expect a difficult game against one of the biggest football clubs in Africa; they are having a tough time at the moment, but we expect them to be ready for the game and, it will be excellent to play them,” he added.
Medeama SC are unbeaten at home this season in the GPL, and coach Kapor said, they will be out to protect that record as they play for the three points.
The Yellow and Mauves, are third on the table with 15 points after eight matches, and they could move top of the stairs if they win on Friday, and, other results favours them this weekend.
They will hope to make the most of the home conditions as they welcome an Accra Hearts of Oak side that has eight points from the same number of matches they have played in the league, to the mining municipality.
