Tema Faith FC opened their campaign in the Tema Metro Football Association (TMFA) Third Division Middle League with a comfortable 2-0 win over Chase SC.
A goal in each half, handed all three points to Faith FC on Sunday in this fixture played at the Tema Sports Stadium.
This promotional tournament, is featuring four teams who are seeking to secure qualification to the Greater Accra Second Division League next season.
On the opening day of the campaign, Tema Faith FC played a well composed game to score in the 11th and 72nd minutes to carry the day.
They will look to build on this performance for the reminder of the campaign as they seek to secure the sole ticket to the third tier league next season.
Tema Faith FC will next play Niki SC on Wednesday, where another win will keep them in course towards gaining promotion.
The other game on Wednesday, will be between Chase SC and Fairpoint FC with the competition set to end next Sunday at the Tema Sports Stadium.
