Ghana Premier League champions Medeama SC has confirmed Nana Yaw Amankwah as first team coach of the club.
Coach Amankwah, has signed a two-year contract with the Yellow and Mauves ahead of the start of next season.
He was with Bibiani Gold Stars as an assistant coach last season and joins the backroom staff of Coach Augustine Adotey at Medeama SC.
Coach Amankwah, holds a CAF License A certificate and will work alongside Coach Adotey as Medeama SC competes on all fronts next season.
The Tarkwa-based club will look to defend the betPawa Premier League title they won last season as well as compete in the MTN FA Cup competition they have won twice before.
Medeama SC will also represent Ghana in the CAF Champions League competition which begins with the first preliminary round next month.
The addition of Coach Amankwah, is expected to strengthen their technical team in anticipation of some tough challenges going forward.
